After the completion of this course students can pursue their career in Radiology Technician, Radiologist, MRI Technician, Radiology Assistant

Radiology is a branch of medicine that deals with radiant energy used for diagnosis and treatment of diseases by using imaging modalities.
Medical imaging is not just about taking radiographs, medical imaging technologists also explain procedures to patients and support patients through the radiological
process. Diagnostic radio technologists employ a range of different imaging techniques and sophisticated equipment to produce high quality images of an injury or disease using range of techniques including:

. X-rays
· Mammography
· Fluoroscopy
· CT (Computed Tomography)
· MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
· Nuclear medicine
· Angiography etc

Medical imaging studies have long been a staple of medical diagnosis. but, technical advancements and the addition of new imaging modalities now place medical imaging among the most dynamic, expanding and high demand fields in clinical medicine.

BMRIT is a 3-year 6 month full-time Program. Various job profiles are:
· Medical Image Analysis Scientist,
· Medical Advisor,
· Ultra Sound Technician and
· Radiologic Technologist.

The Radiology department in COER Hospital gives a chance for practical exposure to the students along with theoretical exposure. Medical lab technicians play a crucial role in the functioning of any medical activity.

Eligibility Criteria : Passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology or any other equivalent exam.

Course Duration : Three years 6 month (Internship)

Age limit : Minimum age of admission shall be 17 years on 31st December 2021
